Excellent example of vertical gardening by utilizing throwaway bottles.

DIY Product: Plastic Bottle Vertical Garden

Materials Required:
-Soda bottle - 2.5 lt
-Rope
-a pair of Scissors or Knife
-Marker
-Potting soil (Garden Soil, Cocopeat, Compost)
-Shallow rooted plant
Steps For Making This Product
-Take any empty Soda bottle (coke/ sprite/ dew)
-Mark a 15 cm long and 8 cm wide cutting area using a marker.
-Cut the marked area carefully with the help of scissors and make few holes at the bottom of the bottle for drainage.
-Fill the bottle with potting soil (equal proportion of garden soil, cocopeat and a handful of compost)
-Plant any shallow rooted plant of your choice
-Tie a string/ rope on both the ends of the bottle and hang the bottle on railing.
-Water the plant once a day.
