The RISK-E-SCAPE project, funded by Erasmus+, seeks to tackle the pressing issues of climate change and environmental degradation in Southeast Asia. It aims to achieve this by offering educational programs in disaster health and environmental studies to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in partner countries. The project will accomplish this by creating open courses, organizing drills in Nepal and Bangladesh, and establishing RISK-E-SCAPE Hubs that will serve as focal points for collaboration among academia, policymakers, and civil society organizations. These hubs will focus on enhancing preparedness, response, and recovery efforts in the face of environmental disasters. Work Packages: The project has a duration of 36 months and is organized in 6 work packages:
1. WP2 Curriculum and hubs development
3. WP3 Curriculum and drills delivery
4. WP4 Quality and training evaluation
5. WP5 Dissemination and exploitation (Lead: IUB)
6. WP6 Project Management

Partner Universities: The project will be implemented through a collaboration by eight universities:
1. P1 National University of Athens (NKUA), Greece
2. P2 POKHARA UNIVERSITY (PU), Nepal
3. P3 Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS), Nepal
4. P4 University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh
5. P5 Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB), Bangladesh (WP6)
6. P6 University of Salerno (UNISA), Italy
7. P7 Universidade Fernando Pessoa (UFP), Portugal
