The KU-LPD club of Kathmandu University announces a selection committee for the board formation of the year 2021-2022. The club proudly congratulates and expresses its gratitude towards the board of 2020-2021 for their sincere hard work and dedication. The current board has to handover the placements and responsibilities by the end of October 2021.

Prof. Dr. Yubaraj Sangroula is the Executive Director at Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal. He is a Professor of Legal Philosophy and Advanced Jurisprudence.
He was appointed as the Convener of High-Level Taskforce for Reforms of the Security Agencies of Nepal constituted by the Council of Ministers of Government of Nepal in 2008. He is also the former Attorney General, the Chief Legal Advisor, and Chief Prosecutor of the Government of Nepal.
Prof. Sangroula has also been awarded the title of ‘Senior Advocate’ by the Supreme Court of Nepal.
Prof. Sangraula has teaching experience of more than 30 years.
His primary fields of research and expertise are the Criminal Justice System, Jurisprudence, Eastern Philosophy, and Constitutional Law. Prof. Sangroula has written many books in his field of expertise.

KU-LPD is a newly formed club of Kathmandu University open to the undergraduate students of all the schools of KU. We believe that the world is in need of leaders, now more than ever. We aim to provide a platform for youths to work on their leadership skills and professional development. Our programs incorporates topics ranging from global issues, politics, sports to social engagements. The programs are designed in such a way that it embraces the youths of all the field of studies. KU-LPD will be piloting activities that focuses on the development of public speaking, debating and critical thinking.
