Our Fourth Year, First Semester (communication engineering) students participated in an academic field visit to Nepal Telecom, Babarmahal, as part of their experiential learning activities.

The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to the MSC, MSC Core, transmission and backhaul networks, optical backbone, DWDM systems, Media Gateway, data centre, and cellular mobile communication and network operations, reinforcing the theoretical concepts covered in their coursework.

The Department expresses its sincere gratitude to Nepal Telecom, Er. Nabaraj Khatiwada, Er. Bishwa Ram Koju, Er. Niranjan Ghimire, Er. Kishor Adhikari, Er. Surendra Khadka, and Er. Ananda Timilsina for their valuable technical guidance and facilitating this educational visit with warm hospitality.

A few time ago, our third-year students successfully developed an "๐ˆ๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐๐ž๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ ๐’๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ" as part of their undergraduate project.

The team designed the ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฅ, ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐›๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ ๐š ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ž to validate the system experimentally.

A good example of applying engineering theory to solve real-world ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฌ.

A good example of integrating ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐๐๐ž๐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฌ, ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž into a practical solution.
