On August 27, 2026, Students for Liberty- Nepal successfully organized “Human Respect: Freedom of Speech and Tort Law,” led by Senior Local Coordinator Suraj Sapkota, bringing together 148 registered participants.

The event created a meaningful space to explore human dignity, individual liberty, freedom of expression, tort law, and the difference between persuasion and coercion through engaging and educational discussions. It was a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, reflect on civil responsibility, and encourage a culture of respectful and open public discourse.

Samvad on Human Respect: Persuasion Over Coercion

Successfully conducted on 17 April 2026 at Paklihawa Campus in collaboration with IAAS Nepal Paklihawa as part of the NExCO session.

Students from 11+ campuses actively participated in an interactive and insightful discussion on Human Respect, liberty, voluntary cooperation, and the power of persuasion over coercion.

The session encouraged critical thinking, open dialogue, and reflection on building a peaceful, cooperative, and prosperous society through respect, innovation, service, and entrepreneurship.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their active engagement and meaningful contributions.

On 6 August 2026, Students For Liberty Nepal organized an engaging introductory session on “Human Respect” at Narayani Public College, led by Senior Local Coordinator Rupak Ghimire. The session introduced students to the idea that every individual has inherent dignity, freedom, and equal moral worth, regardless of their background, identity, beliefs, or social status.

Through meaningful discussions, participants explored how mutual respect, voluntary cooperation, peaceful dialogue, and respect for individual rights can build stronger, more peaceful, and harmonious communities. The session also encouraged students to reflect on how violence, coercion, fraud, and theft harm both individuals and society, while persuasion, consent, and peaceful cooperation create trust and sustainable progress.

The session was a valuable opportunity for students to connect the principles of Human Respect with ethical leadership, responsible citizenship, democratic values, and everyday interactions. It encouraged everyone to think about how respecting the dignity and freedom of others can help create a more peaceful and respectful society.
