IAAS Nepal LC ERC proudly celebrated the 23rd National Paddy Day at NARC, Tarahara, alongside dedicated scientists, researchers, staff members, and workers of NARC, together with NAESS.

Our IAAS Nepal LC ERC members and Agricultural Engineering students enthusiastically participated in this meaningful program, gaining valuable hands-on experience in both modern and traditional rice cultivation techniques. From operating drum seeders and rice transplanters to practicing manual rice planting, the event provided an excellent opportunity to bridge classroom learning with real-world agricultural practices.

We extend our sincere gratitude to NARC and everyone involved for organizing such an enriching program that inspired young agricultural professionals to embrace innovation while honoring our farming heritage.

On the auspicious occasion of National Paddy Day (असार १५), IAAS Nepal LC ERC is organizing an educational field visit to NARC Tarahara, Itahari.

This visit aims to provide our members and participants with valuable hands-on field experience in modern rice cultivation. Participants will have the opportunity to:
🌱 Experience paddy transplantation in the field.
🚜 Observe and learn about advanced agricultural machinery and technologies used at NARC.
🌾 Explore modern rice planting techniques, including mechanized transplantation.
🤝 Interact with agricultural professionals and gain practical knowledge beyond the classroom.

📍 Venue: NARC Tarahara, Itahari
🕖 Departure: 7:00 AM from Campus (approximately 20 minutes travel)
