Teaching Vocabulary
Teaching the meaning of the word is one aspect of teaching vocabulary. While teaching a new word , we need to teach word formation, word grammar and word use along with its meaning. Hence knowing a word doesn't necessarily mean only knowing its meaning.

Motivation is the internal drive which pushes someone to do things in order to achieve something. There is a saying that we can take the horse to the water but can't make it drink. Just like that we can involve the learners in the learning process but prime responsibility of learning remains on the shoulder of the students. Motivated learners will:
-have more concentration.
-give more time and energy in language learning.
-revise the learning contents.
-pay more attention to learning.
-link the learning points to the real life situation.
-have more interest in learning.
It is clear that the role of motivation in language learning is crucial. The learners should be well motivated towards language learning.
