Happy World Veterinary Day 2026! Today, Vet-SAW NPI joins the global community in celebrating the silent heroes who speak for those who have no voice.

As veterinary students, we aren't just learning to treat diseases; we are training to be the guardians of animal welfare, the sentinels of public health, and the bridge between humans and nature. 🐾

Veterinary Students For Animal Welfare (Vet-SAW NPI), in successful collaboration with the NTSC -NPI Bhojad, Chitwan and Nepal Change Makers , conducted a dual-impact community service program today.

Our team dedicated the morning to a comprehensive cleaning drive at the Mahakaleshowor Temple premises, followed by a street dog feeding initiative throughout Bharatpur-11.

By combining environmental stewardship with animal welfare, we aim to create a healthier, more compassionate environment for both humans and our four-legged friends.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and partners who made this initiative a success!

Today, February 22, 2026, Veterinary Students For Animal Welfare NPI (Vet-SAW NPI) successfully hosted a highly informative "Animal Handling and Restraining" program!
This hands-on session was specially designed for the 1st and 3rd-semester BVSc&AH students at Nepal Polytechnic Institute, equipping them with essential practical skills for their veterinary journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Egendra Kumar Shrestha for sharing your invaluable expertise and guidance. Your insights made this a truly phenomenal learning experience for everyone involved!

This impactful program was hosted in collaboration with Animal Nepal International Veterinary Students' Association Rampur - IVSA Rampur Vegan Paradise Cafe पशु सेवा कार्यालय चितवन Youth Action for Sustainable and Eco Nepal , Foundation for Youth Animals Children and Environment , Ratna priya club and CLIMATE SMART CITIES.
