I typically don't share my professional journey on Facebook, but since this is a platform that connects me with everyone including friends and family back home and this is my first step toward a bigger vision, I’m ready to share this good news with everyone.

In August, I completed my second software engineering internship with Microsoft in Redmond, WA. It was an incredible experience, better than anything I could have gotten anywhere else. Microsoft has always been the place I've dreamed of working after graduation because of its culture, mission and flexibility. And I’m excited to share that this dream will come true as I will be joining Microsoft’s Cambridge, MA office as a full-time Software Engineer next year after I graduate.

I want to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends, loved one, my internship teams, and the universe for helping me reach this point.

It feels surreal to be writing this, especially when I think back to 2021, when I first came to the U.S. for my education, unsure of what the future held. Over the years, I have seen a good amount of representation of Nepalese in tech here in the U.S., which has motivated me. And the main thing I've learned is that everything comes together when the timing is right and the right people like those are by your side!
