Chitwan Model United Nations (CMUN) is one of the most prestigious national level MUN organized within Nepal by Youth Thinkers' Society - Chitwan. Model United Nations (MUN) is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, which impels students into the world of diplomacy and negotiation. In MUN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors or delegates of UN member states to debate current issues on the Organization's vast agenda. MUN is a conference similar to the United Nations in which students participate as delegates to various UN Committees. Participants research and formulate political positions based on the actual policies of the countries they represent. This interactive platform complements what is taught inside classrooms by enabling students to apply their knowledge in practice.

After two days of insightful debates, diplomacy, and leadership, CMUN VIII came to a grand close on February 26, 2025. The Closing Ceremony celebrated the dedication of delegates, dais members, and the organizing team. With Mr. Arjun Kumar Shrestha, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Sadikshya Sapkota, Secretary-General, leading the ceremony, the event highlighted the conferenceโ€™s impact.

The eighth edition of Chitwan Model United Nations (CMUN VIII) commenced with a vibrant Opening Ceremony at Galaxy Garden Resort, bringing together delegates from different backgrounds, distinguished guests, and experts.
