After two days of insightful debates, diplomacy, and leadership, CMUN VIII came to a grand close on February 26, 2025. The Closing Ceremony celebrated the dedication of delegates, dais members, and the organizing team. With Mr. Arjun Kumar Shrestha, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Sadikshya Sapkota, Secretary-General, leading the ceremony, the event highlighted the conference’s impact.

From thought-provoking discussions to meaningful resolutions, CMUN VIII showcased the power of youth in shaping global conversations. Until next time, keep debating, keep leading!

The Social Night at Chitwan Model United Nations Edition VIII was a vibrant evening filled with joy, enthusiasm, and entertainment. There were fun games, energetic dance performances, and melodious singing, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
It was a perfect opportunity to unwind, connect, and celebrate beyond the formal sessions, making unforgettable memories and strengthening friendships.

The second day of CMUN VIII was a remarkable success. Delegates actively participated in well-researched debates, presenting innovative solutions to pressing agricultural challenges. Through teamwork and negotiation, they worked towards formulating actionable resolutions aimed at enhancing global food systems. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their dedication and enthusiasm, which have laid a strong foundation for the days ahead.

Youth Thinkers' Society - Chitwan successfully concluded the first day of CMUN VIII, filled with dynamic debates and insightful discussions.

The day also featured an expert session led by Professor Santosh Marahatta, Head of Agronomy at Agriculture and Forestry University. He shared valuable insights on Nepal’s agricultural landscape, food security, and technological advancements, equipping delegates with deeper knowledge to enhance their discussions.

The eighth edition of Chitwan Model United Nations (CMUN VIII) commenced with a vibrant Opening Ceremony at Galaxy Garden Resort, bringing together delegates from different backgrounds, distinguished guests, and experts.

The event was graced by Mr. Mahesh Regmi, Senior Agricultural Officer at the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project, Chitwan, as the Chief Guest, alongside Ms. Sadikshya Sapkota, Secretary-General of CMUN VIII.
