Sallaghari Alumni Association Nepal(SAAN)- USA unit, an alumni association of Sainik Schools graduates, is raising funds to help people affected by recent floods in Nepal. The relief operation will be done by coordinating with the nearest Army barracks to ensure fairness in the program. "The Grand Finale of Sainikian Talent Hunt"

To all the concerned members,

With the warm humility, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participants, teachers and beloved members for making this event successful. To make this journey more memorable, we are concluding it in a remarkable way. We are announcing the winners of the Sainikian Talent Hunt, in the presence of SAAN's Patron, General Purna Chandra Thapa, Chief of The Army Staff, Nepali Army. We will also be sharing the winning talents' videos in this program with some other amazing live performance. Furthermore, we will be having the reviews from all our judges regarding the talent showcased by our member. The event will be aired through our page. Mark the date, members. And yes, as a surprise to our participants, we have added a Junior Category as well(for the participants of grade 7 and junior), to know more, wait for the Grand Finale!!!

"The wait is over" - After the go-signal from our member, Major General Gokul BHandaree, we are thrilled to announce the "Sainikian Talent Hunt" is now officially open for all the participants. All our alumni member and students(who are currently studying in the educational institutes run by Nepali Army) are allowed to participate in this event. The winner of the event is selected from the jury; however, an engagement in the Social Media is also considered to some extent for the evaluation. And, we will be conducting the zoom session to felicitate winners in the presence of jury and special chief guest. Lets make this event grand!!

Rules of Sainikian Talent Hunt

* An individual/group is restricted to one submission.
* The talent should be submitted in video format and participant must show their face.
* The length of video should be less than 5 minute and must be submitted before 12 P.M, 15th June.
* The talent should be performed during the Lock-down interval i.e.7th June to 15th June.
* The content should be original and either in Nepali or English language.
* For Drawing and Painting category, if it exceeds 5 min please use Time-Lapse and jury must be convinced that participant is drawing it.
* The content should not hurt any societal, religious or political sentiments.
* No Tik-Tok videos are allowed

Major General Gokul Bhandaree, one of the pride possession of SAAN, former student of Suping Campus(5th batch, Science) is here to revive and share his "Suping" and professional i.e. military journey. This " Trip down the Sainikian lane" session with Major General Bhandaree would surely inspire you to achieve even more and also guide you to follow the legacy set by our super seniors. In this insightful and informative session, besides talking on contemporary issues, we also had a poem recitation, documentary presentation and Poster launch( from our guest of the session) of the awaited event, "Sainikian Talent Hunt". The collaborative session of the SAAN member from all the educational institutes funded by Nepali Army will undoubtedly take all the Sainikan back to their school days. And the most important part of the session, advisor of SAAN and former principal of the then Birendra Sainik school, dear Hemanta SJB Rana sir has something to say to all the Sainikian.
