T**I Holds Panel Discussion on Inclusive TVET
Training Institute for Technical Instruction (T**I) organized a panel discussion in Bhaktapur on December 11, 2025, under the theme “Inclusive TVET for All: Empowering Every Ability, Every Voice” (समावेशी टीभीइटी सबैका लागि: हरेक क्षमता र हरेक आवाजलाई सशक्त बनाउँदै…).
The session featured distinguished panelists, including Ms. Bhumika Shrestha (LGBTIQ activist and Program Manager, Blue Diamond Society), Dr. Raju Dhakal (Medical Director and Consultant PM&R Physician, SIRC), and Dr. Uma Koirala (Professor, Central Department of Gender Studies). They shared insights on making Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) inclusive and empowering diverse abilities and voices to ensure equitable access and participation.
The discussion was moderated by T**I Trainers Ms. Sabina Shrestha and Ms. Shiba Bagale.

This initiative aims to strengthen the quality of TVET by enhancing instructor competencies and ensuring effective curriculum implementation. On behalf of CTEVT, T**I will collaborate with Kathmandu University School of Education and Swisscontact Nepal through the Quality Project. It also seeks for CREDIT transfer from T**I courses to related Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at Kathmandu University.

Dining Etiquette Training for T**I Officials

Training Institute for Technical Instruction (T**I) conducted a one-day Dining Etiquette Training for its officials as part of ongoing professional development initiatives. Organized in collaboration with Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute, the program aimed to enhance participants’ confidence and competence in formal and business dining settings.
The training focused on proper table manners, effective communication, and cultural awareness skills essential for projecting professionalism at national and international levels. T**I expects the initiative to help officials make positive impressions during official engagements and foster stronger relationships through dining etiquette.

Bhaktapur, November 26, 2025 - A panel discussion titled “Empowering Skills, Enabling Sustainability – Greening TVET for a Prosperous Nepal” was organized today at the Training Institute for Technical Instruction (T**I) as part of the ongoing Greening TVET Training program.
The panel featured prominent figures from the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector and industry, including Mr. Nirmal Sapkota, General Secretary of the Forum for Health and Technical Sciences, representing TVET providers; Ms. Sonika Manandhar, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Aloi, representing industry and employers; and Er. Anoj Bhattarai (PhD), Executive Director of T**I, representing CTEVT.
The discussion explored critical questions posed by the moderator and participants, which included CTEVT officials and the team leader of a TVET-related project. The session was expertly moderated by Ms. Shiba Bagale, Trainer and Course Coordinator for the Greening TVET Training program.

Hetaunda, Bagmati Province November 13, 2025
The Training Institute for Technical Instruction (T**I), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD), Bagmati Province. The agreement, signed in Hetaunda, outlines a collaborative initiative to conduct “Educational Counselor Training” for the fiscal year 2082/83.
T**I extended its appreciation to Mr. Pruna Bahadur Darji, Secretary, Mr. Rudhra Sharma, Division Head and MoSD team for their instrumental support in advancing this collaboration.

T**I Unveils Latest Journal Edition
February 14, 2025, Bhaktapur, Nepal. The Training Institute for Technical Instruction (T**I) has officially released the Journal of Training and Development Vol 7, 2025, on 2081.11.02 (Nepali calendar). The event was presided over by Prof. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Adhikari, Chairperson of the T**I Managing Board. The chief guest for the occasion was Er. Mahesh Bhattarai, Member Secretary of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
