The Student Research Organizing Committee (SRO) of Kathmandu School of Law successfully concluded its academic session titled “An Introduction to How to Write a Term Paper” on 8 May 2026.
The program was designed to introduce First Year B.A.LL.B students with the fundamentals of legal research and academic writing, and to strengthen their understanding of term paper writing within the academic framework of Kathmandu School of Law.
The session was addressed by:
Prof. Pradeep Pathak - Head of Research Department
Assoc. Prof. Sakila Chettri - Research Department
Asst. Prof. Shraddha Atreya - Coordinator, First Year
Sessions were facilitated by SRO members Neesha Pandey, Ankit Verma, Smarika Parajuli, Malvika Laksamba and with a special contribution from Siddhartha Katuwal, Third Year B.A.LL.B, covering topic selection, research question formulation, methodology, citations and formatting under the KSL Comprehensive Style, plagiarism awareness, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in academic writing.
The program drew active student participation, interactive discussions, and an open Q&A segment.
The SRO extends its sincere gratitude to all faculty members, speakers, and participants for their contributions to the program and to the continuing growth of a rigorous research culture at Kathmandu School of Law.
