Our Geoscience in the Himalayas summer program is off to a fantastic start! Over the past few days, students have participated in a successful orientation and a range of engaging academic activities, before heading out for fieldwork in the Kali Gandaki River Valley on Saturday. Here are some highlights from our classes and activities, including an insightful Patan heritage walk with Anil Chitrakar and an engaging lecture on Himalayan Geology and Geography by Dr. Bishal Upreti.
