Then we would love to hear from you! Pint of Science Trondheim is looking for researchers to share their work in an engaging 20-minute talk designed for a general audience.
The Pint of Science 2026 festival will take place in Trondheim from 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 (Tuesday to Thursday, 6 pm – 9 pm). Please find the registration for call for speakers here: https://forms.wix.com/f/6988173114307773060. The application deadline is March 15th 2026.
Pint of Science is an international, volunteer-run science festival that brings researchers to your local pub to share their research and scientific discoveries with the wider community. The festival started in 2013 and has been a great success with science talks for the public taking place in venues across Norway and worldwide.
The scope of Pint of Science is broad. Previous events in Trondheim have featured talks on invisible health workers, AI safety, quantum physics, and many more. For 2026, we are especially interested in presentations on geopolitics, the maritime sector, the arctic, and humanities. However, all disciplines and topics are welcome, and researchers at any career stage are welcome to apply. Make sure to indicate your availability (Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday) as well as your preferred pronouns in the box for description.
If you’d like to reach out for more information, do not hesitate to contact our city coordinator Meike: [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!
