The fire flickers, laughter echoes off the walls, and there is a delightfully hazy filter that wraps reality in a cosy embrace. A good evening in a longhouse stays with you for a long time, and this particular occasion was special. We had just finished filming our documentary and everyone was beyond tired but happy. The food tasted extra rich and the drink flowed freely from our lips. Oh, how we long for such an evening! Now we are looking for another occasion to host a true feast. Any ideas?

We have again been in Transylvania 🏔️as part of the bilateral project “Heritage hub Rasnov”, hosted by our partner . We are as always grateful to and impressed by Mioritics, who are the best host imaginable.

rickard hosted a workshop for 30 guides about how reenactment and living history can be used as a method for sharing history at museums and historical sites. He also had a lecture about our Go Viking hike, and gave a couple of interviews.

We are excited about what the future brings, and are already looking forward to the next trip 🙏❤️
