UiAdoc is excited to invite all doctoral candidates to the 2nd edition of the UiA Doc Sports Day 🏆

After last year’s successful event, doctoral candidates from Grimstad and Kristiansand will once again compete for campus pride and the first-ever UiA Doc trophies:

Last year, Kristiansand took home the title. Will they defend their crown, or will Grimstad claim victory this time? 👀
You don’t need to be an athlete to join!
Spectators are warmly welcome to cheer on their colleagues and enjoy the social atmosphere 🎉

Our career development event with , brought together PhD candidates and postdocs across the campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad.
We explored how universities can better support career planning beyond academia, shared ongoing initiatives, and opened the floor to discussions, questions, and new perspectives.
Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed, your engagement is what makes these event very relevant 🙌

Not everyone with a PhD or postdoc position is aiming for a career in academia, and that’s okay 🥸
But how are universities supporting career planning beyond academia? And what could be improved? 🧐
UiAdoc and Forskerforbundet invite you to a lunch meeting to explore these questions together. We’ll present ongoing initiatives to strengthen career development for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, followed by an open discussion and Q&A.

On March 26th at Kristiansand Campus, we took a break from research and came together for Music Bingo… and it turned out to be a really nice moment to share ✨
Some songs were instantly familiar, others took a second, but everyone got into the rhythm 🎤
With chocolate and a UiA bookstore gift card as prizes, there was just the right balance between fun and a bit of friendly competition 🍫📚
Mostly, it was just good to spend time together outside the usual routine.
Now we’re curious 👀
