Almost summer holidays and a big thanks to all my wonderful pupils who come every week to learn about and make music! I am privileged with the world's best job.

I am not so good at putting out posts on FB or Instagram, but I am slowly learning the art and hope to put out a few more the next year.

If you are interested in learning flute (beginner to advanced), piano (beginner til intermediate), guitar (mostly folk song style), or music theory, get in touch and we can make a plan suited to you.
Some of you wonder if I teach at home or at your house - it depends - feel free to ask.

Next week, I am going to Kristiansand with my wonderful flute quartet, Argentum, to play in masterclasses and soak up lots of lovely flute playing! I am so looking forward to it.

I will start teaching again in August, and in the meantime, have a wonderful summer holiday!

Spre ordet - musikk og bevegelse er så viktig i foreldre-barn kommunikasjonen og i utviklingen av barnets musikalske, språklige, motoriske, romslige og emosjonelle evner. Og ikke minst, det er gøy.

The autumn is going strong already and my pupils are playing away with fun and interesting repertoire. I have added basic guitar this autumn so if you know someone who would like to learn flute (any level), piano (beginner to intermediate) or guitar (chords and songs), I would be grateful if you passed on my details.

I threw in some guitar here too...I can show you the basics of 4-chord playing, strumming and finger-picking.

Summer holidays are here and we managed a quick visit to Troldhaugen to see where and how Edvard and Nina Grieg lived and worked. We are taking a break and start up again from 16th August. If you have any questions, before then, feel free to send a message.

Sommerferien er her og vi klarte en kjapp besøktil Troldhaugen for for å se hvordan Edvard og Nina Grieg bodde og arbeidet. Vi tar en pause og starte opp igjen fra 16.aug. har du noen spørsmål før da, bare send en beskjed.

My little music school is still up and running despite corona measures - I do online lessons when we can't meet up physically. If you would like to have online lessons from wherever you are in Norway or the world, let me know. I am very happy to answer enquiries and give trial lessons.
