Dear Guests of our Thursday gathering!! 🕊️
We are so thrilled to welcome a very special guest joining Us that evening, coming all the way from North of Sweden~ representing the Sami lineage and ancestry.
Henrik will accompany us with his song and music also sharing his instruments and handcrafts with us ✨🙏🏼🤍

My name is Henrik and I am from the north of Sweden, Kiruna.
The path of healing and remembering has led me to study and learn from family from other tribes but also from different plants themselves.
I have also been reconnected with my ancestors and my Sami heritage.
During years of isolation and fasting our local nature started talking to me.
I was guided to different mountains where songs were kept.
These songs started coming through me and as I kept singing them they opened up a memory within me.
A deeper sense of belonging to nature.
I keep nurturing this connection through singing yoiks and throat singing..
But also songs tender to my heart coming from other traditions.
I also use my hands a lot to connect with nature and find satisfaction getting to know different types of trees and letting their life extend into flutes, wooden cups, violins etc..
I am very happy for this invitation and to get to see all of you this week 🙏
