Jeg pleier å fly solo på oppdrag, men det er veldig fint å ha en så hyggelig og bra fyr med på laget i noen uker. Ragnar er i praksis hos meg fra lærerutdanningen på NMBU. Vi smiler mye, og tilrettelegger for naturnærværet til hundrevis av elever som er på leirskole. Gode dager i havgapet..😊

Storkoser meg som foreleser i kurset "Traditional Ecological Knowledge: Student driven learning for sustainable futures". Flott at NMBU tilbyr fag som dette, der studentene selv bestemmer innhold og får ansvaret for å sy det hele sammen så det når opp til et nivå der de kan høste studiepoeng. En dag med Ravn betyr selvølgelig at læringen ble gjennomført i en rik edelløvskog. En virkelig magisk dag i skogen.😊💚

Ravnen flyr inn til Oslo :)

"My heart filled with joy and hope when I first heard about the Motstrøms Deep Ecology Festival. Experiencing a growing number of people addressing the world's problems with deep ecology and an awareness of spirit is empowering. I still have vivid memories of a deep, natural state of connectedness with the more-than-human world as a child exploring the forests, swamps, rivers, lakes, mountains, and the vast ocean in Norway and North America. I have spent most of my adult life searching for ways to repair and strengthen the natural bonds between our species and the more-than-human world, witnessing how modern society severs our birthright of connection.
By entering the wilderness empty-handed and with an open mind, our senses sharpen; our ego melts and gladly dissipates into the ebb and flow of life. It is in the knowledge of bird language, the sound of a gentle breeze in the leaves of a young oak in winter, the flickering of a squirrel's tail, the faint smell of fox urine and an unfamiliar flower, the dancing shadows of cattails on a pond's surface, and the sound of a dragonfly passing by. It is in the difference of taste in a wild edible plant between spring and late summer, in a fresh roe deer track with signs of the deer being startled by a mystery in a forest clearing two days ago, in the faint heat of a bonfire, and the feeling of trust from a wild animal. Herein lie the answers to a sustainable future, for humans in love with nature will never harm her; they will humbly seek her advice on how to move forward. I am looking forward to joining Motstrøms 2023 and sharing."
