Norwegian IB Schools - NIBS

The Parliament voted today on the issue of IB in the public schools. Congratulations to Manglerud International Classes and Blindern vgs on their continuation!

Have you been following the debates? Will the parliament allow IB programs (PYP and MYP) to be a part of the public primary school? A final vote takes place on March 5.

2024 Conference February 8-9 in Bergen!

The conference will be held on two campuses:
Kathedralskole (downtown) and the International School of Bergen (by the airport).

Thursday, February 8th:

11.00-16.00 Welcome and tour of Bergen Kathedral Skole. After lunch, there will be 2 sessions. The main session will be run by Katrin Fox.

Friday, February 9th:

9.00-15.30: Welcome and Tour of the International School of Bergen. The majority of the day will be spent in different programs.

15.30-16.00: All participants join and provide the committee with feedback for the coming year.

NIBS 2022 General Assembly February 11 will go online - Heads and coordinators will receive detailed information shortly. On the same date, NIBS arranges an Evening of Education for all IB educators in Norway. Invitations will be sent out to coordinators. The Annual F2F meeting for Heads and coordinators will be moved to June 3 so mark the dates

Save the date for our Annual Conference! An Evening of Education for teachers on February 10, and the in-person Leadership Conference for heads and coordinators on February 11.
