Presenting Fakhra Salimi! For our event on March 5 celebrating women in global health, we will be highlighting the extraordinary career of Fakhra. She has become an integral leader in women's rights in both conflict-ridden zones and Norway. Additionally, she is the founder of the MIRA Center, a resource and self-help organization for immigrant and refugee women in Norway. Her work allowing women to feel more inclusive in society is an inspiration that is worth admiring!

Throughout 2023 and 2024, the CGH helped coordinate a project on behalf of the Nordic Network on Global Health, funded by NORDPLUS Higher Education. The project fostered collaboration between 12 prominent universities and undertook several activities to effectively equip the next generation of global health professionals to address evolving global health challenges. This included holding professional development workshops and establishing a discussion series centring around global health called Nordic Global Health Talks.
