Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the start of the new school year with music, cava, and good company.
Our beloved teacher Leonie Wiegel will perform a 40-minute piano concert, featuring beautiful works by Schumann, Brahms and Ravel.
After the performance, we’ll gather for a small reception with a glass of cava for adults and soft drinks for children. This will be a lovely chance to meet, mingle with like-minded people, and toast to the year ahead.

Families are warmly invited.
Children may attend the concert free of charge.

🎓We are very happy to introduce our new piano teacher and concert pianist Mari Carmen Gómez. Originally from Granada, Spain, Mari Carmen teaches in English, Spanish, French and Italian. Her impressive CV includes two Bachelor’s degrees in Spain, one Masters, and further postgraduate studies in Italy.

BIO

Mari Carmen Gómez graduated in Piano Performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Victoria Eugenia in Granada, Spain, while simultaneously completing a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education at the University of Granada. She also holds a Master’s in Musical Research from UNIR and has pursued Master studies in Piano Performance at the Conservatorio F.A. Bonporti in Trento, Italy.
Her international education has taken her to Sweden, Finland, and Italy, where she has gained both academic and professional experience by offering private lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. She has also worked as a piano accompanist in various private and public conservatoires in Spain. With her strong background in both piano pedagogy and special education, she has developed a highly adaptable and creative teaching approach.
In 2024, she co-founded Sambra Trio, a musical project dedicated to recovering and performing works by Spanish women composers. The ensemble combines artistic performances with educational and outreach concerts, promoting visibility and recognition for this valuable repertoire. Despite being a young project, the trio has already performed in important theaters in Spain and collaborated internationally with a theater in Oslo.
Passionate about connecting music with people of all ages, Mari believes that piano lessons should always be an enriching experience for both teacher and student.

We are very happy to be part of Oslo’s Kulturnatt once again! This year we have organised a FREE choir workshop open to everyone.

Our choir director and school founder, Emilia Rovira Alegre, will lead two one-hour sessions where participants will explore the basics of choral singing: proper breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, harmonisation — and of course, singing fun songs together!

The activity is completely free and open to anyone who wants to develop their voice – whether you are a beginner or have sung before.

You can choose between the following times:

6:30–7:30 PM

Come at the time that suits you best! 🎶 Maximum 12 participants per session. No registration required. First come first served basis.

Gain confidence performing in front of others
