1. Azerbaijan was the first democratic republic in the Muslim world, established in 1918.
2. Azerbaijan is home to nearly one-third of the world’s mud volcanoes. The Gobustan National Park has the highest concentration of these natural phenomena.
3. The Flame Towers in Baku are a modern symbol of Azerbaijan. The three skyscrapers are covered with LED screens that display the movement of flames.
4. The Temple of Ateshgah, or the Fire Temple, located near Baku, has been a place of worship for Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs.
5. Azerbaijan has a museum shaped like a rolled-up carpet, highlighting the country’s rich tradition of carpet weaving, which is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
6. The country’s nickname, "Land of Fires," comes from the natural gas flames that have burned on the Absheron Peninsula for thousands of years.
7. Azerbaijan won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the song "Running Scared" by Ell and Nikki.

Deltar NAYO som en fullverdig medlem på Barne- og ungdomstinget (BUT) 2024 til Landsrådet for Norges barne- og ungdomsorganisasjoner (LNU) i dag, 18.april 2024. Barne- og familieminister Kjersti Toppe, Kultur- og likestillingsminister Lubna Jaffery og leder av Familie- og kulturkomiteen på Stortinget Grunde K. Almeland hadde innlegg og ønsket oss, BUT lykke til.

Med avtroppende styreleder Margrete Bjørge Katanasho og påtroppende styreleder Jakob Øvensen Aanderaa. Vi er enige om at NAYO og Landsrådet for Norges barne- og ungdomsorganisasjoner (LNU) fortsetter å samarbeide! Vi gleder oss til! ❤🤝

2023-2024-cü illərdə Norveç Azərbaycanlıları Gənclər Təşkilatı- NAYO, Oslo Azərbaycan Evi, N. Gəncəvi adına həftəsonu Azərbaycan dili məktəbi və Norveç Azərbaycanlıları Tələbələr Təşkilatının (NASO) üzvləri üçün tədbirdə iştirak (0-25 yaş) biletsizdir.

2 Fevral Azərbaycanda Gənclər günüdür! Norveçdə yaşayan Azərbaycanlı gənclər diasporamızın ən fəal və prospektivli üzvləridir. Cəmiyyətimizin bütün gənclərini və özünü gənc hiss edən hər bir üzvünü Gənclər Günü münasibəti ilə təbrik edirik!
