BI Outdoor is a sub-unit of BI Student Organization (BISO Oslo), and is run for and by students at BI. Do you want to experience the true spirit of Norway? If so, you have to get out of the city limits. Oslo may be a nice town, but Norway is way more than what first meets the eye. We have got mountains reaching beyond the clouds, And hillsides running straight down to the sea. The fjords crawls de
ep in between the mountains creating spectacular views. In the winter you can ski from 1800m of altitude and straight into the ocean. In the summer you can enjoy weeks of hiking without seeing the same scenery twice. We want you to come with us, for a chance to get a little taste of what this country has to offer. We can promise you experiences you will never forget. If it is to climb some of Norways highest mountains. Or if you just want to come for a weekend paddeling a canoe with a group of people over the lakes in Nordmarka. We have set a goal, not to be the largest student association at BI, but to be the best student association at BI! The friendships that are created alongside the bonfire, enjoying a meal, and talking about the experiences you just had is a teriffic one. Norway is the birthplace of many adventurers, and this is a thing that all Norwegians are proud of. Throughout the year we will try to get some of the modern day adventurers to come visit us, so that you can hear about their journeys first hand!
