Digital Skills Development for 21st Century Adult Education Trainers

Assoc. Dr. Esref Savas Basci, Dr. Instructor Member Cihat Savsar of Hitit University and Technician Ünal Yüce of Corum Adult Education Center paid a visit to Sungurlu Adult Education Center Manager Ertuğrul Bostancı and Alaca Adult Education Center Manager Nihat Haluk Uğraş. During the visits made on January 20, 2022, information about our project was given and ideas were exchanged on digitalization in adult education.

As part of the dissemination activities of our project, a seminar was given to adult education trainers working at the Disabled Education Center of Çorum Municipality.
Assoc. Dr. Esref Savas Basci, Dr. Instructor Member Mustafa Bilgin, Dr. Instructor Member Cihat Savsar, Lect. Mehmet Aydınkal and Teacher Emine Doğan attended. The seminar started with a presentation by Eşref Savaş Başcı that included general information about the project. Then Mehmet Aydınkal, with his presentation on the importance and future of digitalization in adult education in the 21st century, conveyed the importance of new opportunities and intellectual outputs of the project to adult educators.
The seminar ended with an exchange of views on how digitalization can affect the education of disabled-adults in particular.

(Projemizin yaygınlaştırma faaliyetleri kapsamında Çorum Belediyesi’ne ait Engelli Eğitim Merkezinde görevli yetişkin eğitimi eğitmenlerine seminer verildi.
Seminere proje ekibinden Doç. Dr. Eşref Savaş Başcı, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Mustafa Bilgin, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Cihat Savsar, Öğr. Gör. Mehmet Aydınkal ve Öğretmen Emine Doğan’ın katıldılar. Seminer Doç. Dr. Eşref Savaş Başcı’nın proje hakkında genel bilgiler içeren bir sunumuyla başladı. Ardından Öğr. Gör. Mehmet Aydınkal 21.yy’da yetişkin eğitiminde dijitalleşmenin önemi ve geleceği konulu sunumu ile yetişkin eğitimcilerine yeni fırsatlar ve projenin fikri çıktılarının önemini aktardı.
Seminer, dijitalleşmenin özellikle engelli-yetişkinlerin eğitiminde nasıl etkiler yaratabileceği konusu üzerinde görüş alışverişinde bulunularak sona erdi.)

As part of our project's multiplier activities,Hitit University organized its 2nd Digital Skills Seminar for the trainers in Adult Education at the Ethem Erkoç Conference Hall on 17.01.2022. At the seminar, the outputs of our project were explained, application was tested, digitalisation of education were presented and ideas were exchanged for sustainability of the project.

Seminerde projemizin çiktilari anlatildi, uygulama test edildi ve surdurulebilirlik icin fikir alisverisinde bulunuldu.)

Digital Skills Seminar held by Hitit University in Sungurlu,Çorum received wide coverage in the local press. The event organized on 15.01.2022 was attended by adult education authorities, experts, directors and trainers.

As part of our project's multiplier activities,Corum Adult Education Center organized a conference for the trainers in Adult Education at the Anitta Hotel. Çorum Mayor, national education director, academicians and about 80 adult education trainers from the district public education directorates attended the conference. At the conference, the outputs of our project were explained, digitalisation of education were presented and ideas were exchanged for sustainability of the project.

(Projemiz coğaltıcı faaliyetleri kapsaminda Anitta Otelde düzenlenen Yetişkin Eğitiminde görevli eğiticilere yönelik konferansımiza yoğun bir katilim sağlandi. Belediye başkan yardımcımız, milli egitim müdürümuz, akdemisyenler ve ilçe halk egitim müdürlüklerinden bir ck yetişkin eğitimci konferansa katilim sagladilar. Konferansta projemizin çiktilari anlatildi ve surdurulebilirlik icin fikir alisverisinde bulunuldu.)

Hitit Üniversitesi, Oslo’da 3. Ulus ötesi proje toplantısına katıldı Hitit Üniversitesi'nin koordinatör olduğu Türkiye'den Çorum Halk Eğitim Merkezi, Avusturya ve Norveç'in proje ortağı olarak yer aldığı 'Yetişkin Eğitiminde Dijital Yeterliliklerin Geliştirilmesi” adlı projenin 3. Ulus ötesi Toplantısı Oslo'da gerçekleşti.

11-12 Kasım tarihlerinde Oslo'da düzenlenen toplantımız belge dağıtımı ile sona erdi.
