A year ago I wrote this chronicle in VG, Norways largest newspaper, about the benefits of checking out of the duties, push notifications and programs of society and checking in to the present moment, to be bored, mentally and emotially digest. It is SO easy to keep on running, plug in another podcast, refresh a feed, say yes to all the cool activities and opportunities of modern life. And yes we are so lucky to even have the chance to say yes, to learn and to grow. But growth is not always in feed and knowledge. More is not always better for the body. Sometimes all we need is to be bored in order to learn more.
I got really good feedback on this chronicle and I am eager to hear your thoughts too. What are your quick hacks to check into the present moment and just be?

I’m back. Took some time off to mentally digest from SoMe (and my personal account is still in hibernation). I observed my mind drifting more easily off to this bubble we call social media, when I really wanted to be present IRL. Is it not a bit funyn that we even have a term for - in real life.🙊😋💫 What a world 🪐🌪️
I wanted to post for a reason. And that is ~ to say hello and to remind you that I am here for any corporation or team that feel like another kind of workshop🚀🚀 Today I was with Sleepers ~ a brunch of cool high paced founders that also value work-life-balance, and use smartdevices as a guide in addition to the body signals. The optimal combination I dare say🌊🫧

Often doing nothing is the best investment and smartest choice. Laying down with no agenda is like digesting food but for our mind and emotions. We remember that which was forgotten. We charge. Get perspective. See clearly. Open to Great ideas.
So, next time your head is everywhere and energy low, with an overload on the system. Try to lie down. And do nothing.
You might keep a notebook next to you, you’d be surprised how many things you will solve.
