Have you ever thought that you might have lost the opportunity you had, that the train has already left the station and that it is now too late? I have thought this several times. Self-accusation, regrets and discouragement may often be the results.
But be encouraged by knowing that God’s grace is new and fresh every day! There is grace from God for TODAY and for the season you are in NOW.
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor 6:2)
That means that even if I feel I have messed it up, been too unsure of going through the open doors, or not completed what I started a long while ago, God’s grace still meets me where I am TODAY. The same is for you. Then the Lord and you can continue together from where you are TODAY – there IS a grace for today and a way forward from where you are now.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebr. 4:16)
