It seems like a number of former PC government officials speaking up loudly in protest about what happened with Serenity. When it was the PC government under Dave Hancock, they wanted the deaths that were similar to Serenity’s Murder hidden away from the people.

A few years ago we heard Rachel Notley speaking out with passion on how the child welfare system must change and even used it as her campaign promise.
Q: Has it drastically changed?
A: NO!
Q: Are our family courts fair, transparent and ethical?
A: NO!
Q: Have CFSA and other abusive, negligent civil servants and custodians, been removed?
A: Rarely.

In fact Serenity’s abuser got to keep kids in her home and work at a day care caring for babies till public out-cry finally made somebody put some restrictions on her.

This in-fact happened due to Serenity’s mother's brave communication to the media. Del Graph the so-called child protector/advocate asked Serenity’s mom to be quiet. The fact that he still works as the child advocate tells us everything we need to know about our government -- doesn't matter what party! It's easier to keep the 'status-quo' than to go after 'abusers-of-power' civil servants, entrenched in their fiefdoms still putting the 'fear of God' into the public they are supposedly serving.

Ah, yes, the secrecy must continue! It’s more important to protect government civil servants, than vulnerable families and children.

Group Home Worker Charged with S*x Assault

An Edmonton group home worker has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a youth in his care.

ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested Samer Temraz on November 2, 2018, and charged the 40-year-old man with numerous offences related to child sexual exploitation and child po*******hy. The victim was 11 years old.

The Edmonton Police Service’s S*xual Assault Section and the Zebra Centre for Child Protection are providing assistance with the investigation and believe there may be additional victims. Investigators are in the process of contacting and interviewing youth who previously had contact with Temraz. Alberta Children’s Services is also continuing to support the investigation.

Since the date of his arrest, Temraz has remained in custody, and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 5, 2018.

The investigation began after ICE received information from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre about a suspect accessing child po*******hy. Once the suspect was identified and arrested, a forensic analysis of his computers and electronic devices uncovered evidence of sexual assault committed against a youth.

The victim was identified as a youth in his care at the group home. The group home is not being named in order to help protect the identity of the victim.

Temraz is charged with:

sexual exploitation;
sexual assault;
sexual interference;
possession of child po*******hy;
transmitting child po*******hy; and
making child po*******hy.

I read a book “Moral Mazes” by Robert Jackall which is a study of how corporations work, and it’s actually a fascinating book, this sociologist, he just picks a corporation at random and just goes and studies the middle managers, not the people who do any of the grunt work and not the big decision makers, just the people whose job is to make sure that things day to day get done, and he shows how even though they’re all perfectly reasonable people, perfectly nice people you’d be happy to meet any of them, all the things that they were accomplishing were just incredibly evil. So you have these people in this average corporation, they were making decisions to blow out their worker’s eardrums in the factory, to poison the lakes and the lagoons nearby, to make these products that are filled with toxic chemicals that poisoned their customers, not because any of them were bad people and wanted to kill their workers and their neighbourhood and their customers, but just because that was the logic of the situation they were in.

Another book I read was a book “Understanding Power” by Noam Chomsky which kind of took the same sort of analysis but applied it to wider society which you know we’re in a situation where it may be filled with perfectly good people but they’re in these structures that cause them to continually do evil, to invade countries, to bomb people, to take money from poor people and give it to rich people, to do all these things that are wrong. These books really opened my eyes about just how bad the society we were living in really is.”
