University of Agder has invested heavily in developing study programs in mechatronics. We are currently the only university in Norway offering a complete education in mechatronics, from bachelor's program to Ph.D. This is a rapidly growing academic field at the University of Agder, with wide-range research activities in close collaboration with local, national, and international academic sectors and industries in the areas of applied machine learning and robotics, industrial mechatronics systems, electric and hydraulic power systems, sensors and measurement technology, oil and gas-related engineering, advanced manufacturing, and welfare technology.
