This time we’re making it extra special – with a live band on stage. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or a complete beginner, you’re warmly invited to join us on the dance floor, meet new people, and enjoy the atmosphere. Bring your friends, come as you are, and experience a social and musical evening in the heart of Bergen. We’ve just wrapped up an incredible Swing Weekend in Cottontails and are still buzzing with excitement!
Our teachers led intensive Lindy Hop basics and Vernacular Jazz classes, and it was truly rewarding to teach such dedicated and motivated students. Seeing people stay after class to practice and hearing their enthusiastic feedback made our hearts swell with pride ✨ — what an amazing group!

🥳 Solo Jazz triumph!
Our Solo Jazz group took on a huge amount of material and even completed a routine that exceeded the ‘Open Level’ standard! We’re beyond proud of both our instructor, who brought fresh ideas from a Winter Camp in Luleå 🇸🇪 and our hardworking students, who absorbed every step with passion. These dancers are now performance-ready, and we hope to see them representing our club at public events this spring!

🎬 Swing & History on the Big Screen
We closed the weekend with a movie night, watching The Six Triple Eight Battalion — a powerful historical drama about African American women in WWII ensuring soldiers could stay in touch with their loved ones. This was a perfect choice for Black History Month, offering both an important story and a special treat: a glimpse of authentic Lindy Hop on screen!
🍒And here’s the cherry on top… we spotted Joseph from UK — a guest instructor from Spring 2024 — dancing in the movie! What a thrill to recognize someone we’ve met, danced with and learned from in Bergen!
