That’s it! It’s all over! Grade 10KK and Grade 10CD have graduated 🥳 A wonderful evening of celebration as both these classes ended their journey with us. Some we have known only for a year or two, some we have known since they were two years old! We wish them all good fortune in their future endeavours 🎓

Another successful Alumni Talk in the books! As part of their PYP Exhibition two Grade 5 students have been inviting alumni to come back and visit ISB. Here they can pass on their knowledge and experience of life after ISB to our older students, many of whom are starting to consider their options for future study. We are always looking for more alumni to come back and visit us, so drop us a line if you’re interested ☺️

Sports Day for Upper and Lower School! The whole school split into their ‘houses’ to take part in a wide range of activities and sports. Spare a thought for Grade 5 who took part in both! 😮‍💨☀️

Grade 5 are back from their three day trip out to Skjergardsheimen leirskole. The weather looks like it treated them kindly, and do you know what I noticed from Mr Jacob’s photographs? Everybody is smiling! ☺️

This year’s drama performance was a rendition of Annie JR, a sixty minute version of the famous Broadway musical. So much phenomenal talent on display. Congratulations to all our performers, especially Ellie the dog, who nailed her lines! 🐶 Huge thanks to Mr Hasselgreen, our student director, the tech team and all our staff and parent volunteers 👏 Hopefully the sun WILL come out tomorrow, or ANY DAY THIS SUMMER! ☀️🙏

As the culmination of their journey through the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Grade 5 got to present their PYP Exhibition projects to their parents and fellow students today. The range of knowledge and actions taken were fantastic. Grade 5 will continue to present their projects to the rest of the student body in the coming days. We’re looking forward to watching you guys grow in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) starting next year! Huge thanks to Mr Jacob, Amelie and all the project mentors who helped make this happen 👏

Lower School celebrated Earth Day a little late this year, but still managed to get a lot done! We made some improvements to our outdoor classroom, reseeded some areas in playground 1 and made some planet earth inspired models 🌍

As part of their PYP Exhibition project, two Grade 5 students have been searching for ways to transform ISB. Their survey of upper school highlighted that people wanted stronger connections between alumni and current students, so they set to work organising a whole series of Alumni Talks.

The first talk was supposed to take place early next year, but why wait? On Thursday, four alumni visited to kickstart the Alumni Talks with words of wisdom on life after ISB, giving the benefit of their experience in attending videregående skole 🏫

More talks are planned for the weeks and months ahead, and we'd love to hear from any alumni who are interested in returning to ISB to pass on their knowledge 🎓

This week Grade 3 decided to put on a Toy Exchange, as part of a unit on sustainability 🧸 All the students in Lower School got to take part, and we’re looking forward to running another one next year! 🚂
