As students, researchers, or staff, we spend a lot of time on campus, full of places we shape, share, and take responsibility for.
Israeli academic institutions have for decades contributed to serious violations of international law, yet Norwegian universities and colleges hesitate to take a clear stance.
✊🏼We can’t wait for the university’s leadership. Through the international BDS campaign, we can take matters into our own hands. By making your part of the university an apartheid-free zone, we build a university free from apartheid – one zone at a time.
💡This workshop is envisioned as a collaborative space bringing together SAIH, AFZ, and a range of student and civil society actors in Bergen.
🦉UiB’s Studentparliament will be sharing a few words about their resolution on Academic Boycott, and Kamilla Stølen, UiB advisor and SAIH’s board member will be sharing experiences on academic responsability with Palestina.
