Following the Feldenkrais method.
An online offer.
Movement sequences at home in your own living room guide by the teacher via the internet.
You can be as anonymous as you want, turn off the camera and only use the speaker if you wish.
You work from your individual starting point and get to know your own boundaries better.
Lightness and well-being instead of performance requirements.
The Feldenkrais method contains several different carefully composed movement sequences (ATMs) where your attention is guided by the teacher.
Thoughts, worries, and other experiences from everyday life leave traces in the body.
When the focus is directed from the exterior to the soft, calm movements of the body, it can lead to a better balancing of the muscle groups and increased relaxation.
This can be felt in the form of freer breathing, that the impact of gravity becomes clearer, the energy flows freer through the system, the balance improves and you have an increasing feeling of wellbeing.
With more awareness of the gravity and the body in balance, the skeleton may carry the weight, and the muscles are allowed to be free to move.
Working with awareness increases the self-insight and develops the personal growth
One expression we use in the Feldenkrais Method is the power of attention, where you direct your attention in the body a change may occur.
No form of perfection or performance requirements.
The philosophy of the method is that thoughts, feelings, and movements are an integrated entity.
No thoughts or feelings exist without a corresponding path of muscle tension.
Therefore, it can also be reversed so that the movements are influencing the mental part.
If you are a musician, Feldenkrais can have a particularly informing and beneficial role in your ease of playing and ultimate standard, and as a performing Musician and Instrumental Teacher I have much experience in that field.
