I have two main spindle projects going. Cotton and yak silk. Both are lovely, and both going slow at the moment.

This arrived in the mailbox this morning: more cotton punis to be spun, along with some samples of seed cotton and green cotton.

The cotton is from Aleta Springs Fiber on Etsy.

After three years in the loom, these two lap throws are finally finished!
Weft is singles hand spun spelsau wool from a local farmer, warp is commercial yarn (Sølje).
I’m very happy with them!

This yak silk spun up very nicely! Must make more of this

I started this spin in October. I just finished plying on my wheel. I havent counted yardage, but this yak silk sure took some time to ply and skein.
