Our PYP 4 students took their learning beyond the classroom by organizing a real-life Market Day! Putting their "Marketplace" unit skills to the test, they managed everything from scratch and successfully raised 3,500 NOK. Check out the major highlights of how they did it:

Who says teachers only give lessons? Yesterday, our teachers and a few students joined Jentebølgen 2026 in Ålesund with energy, smiles, and a whole lot of team spirit!

Congratulations to our PYP 6 students, who presented their final IB PYP Exhibition presentations with confidence, creativity, and purpose. The culmination of weeks of inquiry, collaboration and reflection was evident in every presentation, and the results were truly outstanding.

Students demonstrated a wonderful understanding of their chosen themes and communicated their learning with clarity and enthusiasm. The audience remained engaged throughout, thanks to the dynamic and interactive elements thoughtfully incorporated into each exhibition. From powerful visual displays to meaningful discussions and creative presentations, students showcased not only what they learned, but how they learned.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, resilience and passion shown by all of our students. The Exhibition was not only a celebration of learning but also a reflection of the caring, internationally minded young people they are becoming. Well done, PYP 6!

A mysterious suitcase arrives in the classroom… filled with curious objects inspired by the flowing shapes and natural beauty of Art Nouveau.

Through exploration, creativity, and collaboration, students step into the role of collectors and discover how art can spark imagination, observation, and storytelling.

In our farm to table unit, Year 2 is learning how food changes in ways before it reaches our plates. The students took a trip to where Lamella ice-cream is made. It was a delicious learning experience for all.

Year 6 visited the Newton Room at NMK - and what a day it was!

Using Lego Spike Prime robots, our students explored measurement, circles and coding through hands-on discovery. They investigated circumference, diameter and radius, figured out how to measure a circumference, and worked out how rotations connect to real movement - all through trial, error and plenty of laughter.

Along the way they picked up some serious teamwork skills too. And to top it all off, they got to put their questions to Pepper the robot!

A huge thank you to Bjørn for leading such an engaging and memorable session - you made it really special for our students!

A brilliant day of learning that didn’t feel like learning at all. Well done, Year 6!
