Global Project and Change Management

Global Project and Change Management Global Project and Change Management is a 4-year BBA programme at Windesheim Honours College in the Netherlands.

We train students to be international project managers and leaders, tackling sustainability challenges from climate change to human rights. A 4-year residential Bachelor programme for ambitious students who want to make change for a sustainable future! A Bachelor Business Administration combined with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Project Management and Change Management to help others and to create change!

ME Journey Experience 🎨

We are Dasha and Smilte, and during our first-year ME Journey we created a table made from recycled plastic bottles. We collected used plastic bottles from students and lecturers at our university and transformed them into a table to raise awareness about plastic water pollution 🌊♻️

It all started with a question: How can we contribute to real change? 🌍

After Global Project and Change Management (GPCM), there is no single career path, but there is a shared drive to create impact.

In this video, GPCM alumni share where life has taken them after graduation, what moments and experiences defined their time in the programme, and how GPCM shaped who they are today. They talk about what they learned, how they use those lessons now, and the advice they want to give future students and changemakers.

Featuring alumni Lena Meisinger, Lisa Grages, Samuel Wagner, and Mona Rechberger.

Hi, I am Collins K. Bache, an international student from Cameroon studying Urban Design at Breda University of Applied Sciences.

When I chose the Managing Projects for Sustainable Development (MPSD) minor, part of the Global Project and Change Management (GPCM) | Windesheim Honours College at Windesheim, I was looking for an opportunity to work on real-world sustainability challenges. The experience exceeded my expectations.

During the programme, I collaborated with Freedom Leisure in the UK, helping to identify barriers to green travel and develop recommendations that encourage more sustainable lifestyles. Working on a real project with an external organisation gave me valuable insights into project management, sustainability, and international collaboration.

What I enjoyed most was the strong collaboration between students and teachers. The supportive learning environment, hands-on approach, and opportunity to contribute to meaningful change made this a truly rewarding experience.

🌱 What if an unused space on campus could become an edible garden?

That is the challenge we have taken on as part of a project at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences.

Over the past months, we have been working on plans to transform the metal platforms alongside the T-building into a garden with fruit, vegetable, and herb plants. What is currently an empty space has the potential to become a green and productive part of the campus.

To bring this vision to life, we are building on research by Civil Engineering students, working towards a collaboration with a vocational school specialising in gardening and landscape construction, and exploring partnerships and funding opportunities with experts both within and outside Windesheim.

As six first-year students in Global Project and Change Management (GPCM) | Windesheim Honours College, we are proud to be turning an ambitious idea into a real project.

Living and studying in Alaska while working on a real sustainability project was something I never imagined I would do during my studies.

Hi, I’m Hanna Tomczak, a Global Project and Change Management student at Windesheim.

Last semester, I spent several months in Sitka, Alaska as part of the Managing Projects for Sustainable Development (MPSD) programme. Together with my team, I worked with the Sitka Sound Science Center , a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and researching Alaska’s unique marine and terrestrial ecosystems through education and scientific research.

Our challenge was to help the organisation explore new opportunities for long-term growth and expand its impact for the future.

The experience taught me a lot about project management, teamwork, sustainability and adapting to unexpected challenges. It was an adventure I will never forget.
