🚐 Navigeren met MyRoute-app via Apple CarPlay

Michel laat zien hoe hij MyRoute-app Navigation gebruikt via Apple CarPlay in zijn Marco Polo.

Van het instellen van de voertuiggegevens en het kiezen van een bestemming tot navigeren via het CarPlay-scherm. Onderweg hoef je alleen nog maar te rijden en van de reis te genieten. 🗺️

Na vijf weken rondtoeren door Frankrijk en Spanje is de conclusie duidelijk: MyRoute-app gaat gewoon mee op avontuur.

From setting up the vehicle details and choosing a destination to navigating directly via the CarPlay screen. Once you’re on the road, all that’s left to do is drive and enjoy the journey. 🗺️

Geen route gepland, maar toch zin om te rijden? 🏍️

Open de Rondritgenerator in MyRoute-app. Kies je startpunt, stel je gewenste afstand in en pas de route aan je voorkeuren aan.

Wanneer je de afstand wijzigt, wordt de geschatte rijtijd automatisch bijgewerkt. MyRoute-app maakt vervolgens een rondrit op basis van jouw keuzes.

Het enige wat je nog hoeft te doen, is rijden en genieten.

Wat kies jij vandaag: een korte rit na het werk of een volledige dag op pad? 👇

No route planned, but still feel like riding? 🏍️

Open the Round Trip Generator in MyRoute-app. Choose your starting point, set your preferred distance and adjust the route to match your preferences.

As you change the distance, the estimated riding time updates automatically. MyRoute-app then creates a round trip based on your choices.

All that’s left to do is ride and enjoy.

Zoals enkele weken geleden aangekondigd, nemen we afscheid van deze Facebookgroep. De groep werd opgericht om nieuws en updates over onze nieuwe navigatie-app te delen. Inmiddels is de app een vaste waarde binnen MyRoute-app en heeft de groep haar doel bereikt.

Raak nooit meer het overzicht kwijt tijdens een meerdaagse reis. 🗺️

Met MyRoute-app kun je nu met een paar klikken een complete routeverzameling op de kaart tonen – perfect voor roadtrips, toertochten en vakanties met meerdere etappes.

Synchroniseer je routes voor offline gebruik, open de map, tik op 'Toon alle routes' en je volledige reis staat in één oogopslag op de kaart. Pas de kleuren aan, verberg alle routes of toon ze opnieuw wanneer jij dat wilt.

⚠️ Heb je vragen of loop je ergens tegenaan? Facebook en Instagram zijn geen supportkanalen. Voor algemene vragen, bugs en tips van andere gebruikers kun je terecht op het forum: https://forum.myrouteapp.com/

We begonnen de dag in Leiden en gingen daarna richting Van der Valk Nootdorp voor een productieve teamvergadering. Vervolgens sloten we de dag gezellig af met een heerlijk diner.

En ja… er was een bijzondere reden om het glas te heffen. 🥂
Wat we precies vierden? Dat houden we nog héél even geheim. 👀

We started the day in Leiden before heading to Van der Valk Nootdorp for a productive team meeting. Afterwards, we wrapped up the day with a lovely dinner.

And yes… there was a special reason to raise our glasses. 🥂
What were we celebrating? We’re keeping that a secret for just a little longer. 👀

🏍️ 359 bikes. One route. One incredible community.

MyRoute-app was proud to support Ride Out 26 by providing complimentary licences for the event’s marshal team.

For their first-ever charity ride-out in support of the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Lincs And Notts Air Ambulance Ride-Out welcomed an incredible 359 motorcycles to Newark Showground.

Managing a convoy of that size safely is a major challenge. The riding marshals needed to know exactly where they were going while also managing junctions, keeping the group together and helping hundreds of riders safely around the planned route.

To support them, the organisers prepared the route in MyRoute-app beforehand. On the day itself, the marshal team used MyRoute-app’s navigation to keep the route directly in front of them throughout the ride.

As the organisers told us afterwards:

“You gave us a tool that we actually used to help run the event.”

That is exactly the kind of real-world use we love to see.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in Ride Out 26 and, most importantly, to the entire community for raising funds for the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

And with plans already taking shape for an even bigger Ride Out 27, we’re looking forward to following the journey.
