After many years participating and being involved in international events through other organizations, we decided to create our own Foundation. Collaborating with other organizations is always helpful for the process of learning and for gaining experience, but it also means that we are limited somehow. When Siri walks away during an exercise, it's often not because he is uninterested—it's because our communication isn't clear yet.
People assume that it is simple to tell an animal to do something. With Siri, the excuse they find is that "he is a cat, that is the reason he doesn´t do what he is being asked", they say.
Cat, dog, horse, chicken, person.... if what you are asking from another is not something that you believe, or feel (suppose you want someone to connect with you, or have empathy for you, but you are not making this connection possible), the other most probably will not correspond either.
Animals show it immediately, providing a confronting, yes, but also honest feedback.
