The first ๐—”๐˜‡๐—ถ๐—บ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฐ๐—  has been launched, marking another exciting application of Hull Vaneยฎ technology in the superyacht sector.

As the largest yacht ever built by Azimut Yachts, this 43.85-metre flagship combines lightweight carbon fibre construction, hybrid propulsion and Hull Vaneยฎ technology to improve efficiency, comfort and sustainability.

By reducing wave-making resistance and optimizing stern flow, Hull Vaneยฎ helps lower fuel consumption and emissions while improving onboard comfort through reduced pitch and roll motions.

Every retrofit, every new piece of equipment, every regulatory change and every operational adjustment slightly changes a vessel.

Individually, these changes seem insignificant.

Together, they can increase resistance, fuel consumption and alter how the vessel performs.

Nothing is necessarily wrong.

The vessel simply isn't the same vessel that left the shipyard.

This is something we see regularly when evaluating retrofit opportunities. Improving efficiency isn't always about changing the engine. Sometimes it's about adapting the vessel to how it actually operates today.
