Looking back at a great Acuril Conference 2024 Guyana conference last week.

We hosted 4 sessions for an enthousiastic crowd, enjoyed the local culture, caught up with old friends and made plenty of new friends.

And we were able to present GO School for Information again in the Caribbean region.

Last week, GO opleidingen attended in Arlington, Virgina in the United States.

During this well-attended conference, we spoke with dozens of primarily from the U.S. and Canada.

What was striking was that, in addition to the topical theme of , there is also a great need on the other side of the Atlantic for more and to position the (new role of the) library correctly and to make the added value clear to both management and users.

Our workshop 'Communicate your Added Value' therefore fitted perfectly into the program.

In short, an interesting week with many new insights and contacts. And of course the inevitable visit to The Library of Congress in Washington DC.
