Thróisma vocal trio

Thróisma is a vocal group created by three Greek musicians : Yvonne Melissa, Vanessa Kourtesi, and Pinelopi Tseliou.
Thróisma is inspired by the greek word “Optona” which means: “The sound o f the rustling leaves”.

The trio writes original music inspired by the sounds of the nature and explores the rich textures of Greek polyphonic music, rebetiko and more contemporary sounds, making the project a culture blend. The arrangements o f the songs (rhythm and harmony) are adapted and performed with voices and occasionally the trio i s also using instruments such as violin, guitar, percussion and loop station.

Each of Throisma’s performance is a unique improvised experience. We encourage the audience to be part of the
experience, making the show feel like a shared, intense journey.

Throisma isn’t just a project; it’s an exploration of what’s possible when vou strip music down to its most essential form — the human voice.

Dimitris Lappas, joined by his longtime collaborator and friend Marios Makris, presents an unforgettable live performance featuring original compositions alongside fresh, reimagined takes on classics by Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Django Reinhardt, Akis Panou, Vasilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Chiotis, and more.

With Dimitris on electric guitar, fretless guitar, and bouzouki, and Marios on acoustic guitar, the duo takes you on a musical journey spanning from the last century to today.
