COME TO THE QUAD AT 11 AM ON THE 27TH OF APRIL TO PLAY SOME FUN GAMES (and potentially win a drink to start off your day of fun 😉 ).

We will also provide you with a list of fun things to do in Utrecht on Kingsday!

Our Project Manager Maartje had organised a wonderful opportunity for you guys to enjoy a free dinner on the 25th of April! 📆

The dinner is organised by Buurtbuik, an amazing organisation that combats food waste by cooking a vegetarian meal with food that is collected from local suppliers.

The dinner will be a 10 minute bike away from campus, and there are only 15 SPOTS FOR UCU STUDENTS!! 😮

On Friday the 15th of April Town and Gown and Podium Oost are providing you with an amazing opportunity to meet people from the community by hosting its second WORLD KITCHEN!!

A chef from Podium Oost and UCU students will bring different cultures together and cook a three course meal inspired by one country. 🍽

The country inspiring the dinner is SOUTHERN GERMANY, and there will be limited spots available for UCU students to attend the dinner and join people from the community (which will be held at Podium Oost, only about a 10 minute walk from campus!) 🚵‍♀️

You will be paying a reasonable amount for a three course meal with other people from the community (you will be able to pay there), whilst the student cooking tell us about the culture 🍎 and music 🎸 of their country!

The scavenger hunt will start this Saturday at 12 on the Quad, and will take you all around Utrecht to fun different locations as you complete different tasks🏃‍♂️.

There is no time pressure, however the quicker you finish the tasks, the more likely you are to win one of the three prizes. 😉

The first group to finish all of the tasks will be able to choose one of the prizes, with the following two groups to finish getting one of the remaining two 😊

Have you wanted to go out and explore everything Utrecht has to offer but do not know where to start?

We give recommendations for an event/nice places to go (keeping into account that we are students and our budgets are quite limited 😉 ). Every week a different board member will create a weekly schedule, which also gives you great insight into our different interests and the things we enjoy doing.

On Friday the 18th of February Town and Gown and Podium Oost are providing you with an amazing opportunity to meet people from the community by hosting a special dinner!! Every third Friday of the month a chef from Podium Oost and UCU students will bring different cultures together to cook a three course meal inspired by one country 🍽

This Friday the country inspiring the dinner is HUNGARY!!

People from the community will be joining and there are only 12 SPOTS AVAILABLE for UCU students!!

The dinner starts at 18:30 at Podium Oost, Oudwijkerdwarsstraat 148, 3581 LJ Utrecht, however one of the board members of Town and Gown will be joining so there will be a possibility to travel together 🚴.

You will be paying only 12 euros for a three course meal with other people from the community (you will be able to pay there), whilst the chef cooking with the students tells us about the culture 🍎, politics and music 🎻 of the country!

If you are interested in going either by yourself or with a group of friends, send me a message and the first 12 people will be able to claim a spot for the first world kitchen of 2022!!
