The last days have been full of experimenting, learning traditional and modern batik techniques at and exploring new techniques like cyanotype with at the residency .
Here is a glimpse of the batik process, with a three layers of colour. It was the last of five pieces made at the batik atelier. The piece is inspired by the waves of the ocean and the sky, symbolising botje my families journey and mine.
From August 22 until 25 you can discover my project and proces at the open studio at , I’ll be there from 4 until 8 pm to tell you more about my journey.
