LES - Law and Economics Society I JSVU

The LES is a society of the JSVU dedicated to organising various activities for the Law and Economics students of Utrecht University. By students, for students.

The LEC is a committee of the JSVU. It functions under direct supervision of the board of the JSVU, though it is autonomous to a far-reaching extent. It is one of the two committees within the JSVU dedicating its activities to a specific master’s programme. The committee is connected to the Law and Economics Master’s programme and is comprised of L&E students.

⚠ Alumni Event POSTPONED ⚠

Regrettably, the uncertainty following reports of coronavirus infections in the Netherlands has led us to postpone LES Alumni Event scheduled for March 18. As soon as the situation is more clear, we will communicate a new date.

The Utrecht Law Society is searching for students to become a committee member of the Law & Economics Commitee!

Objective of the LEC is to facilitate external activities related to the joint Master Law and Economics at Utrecht University and support internal cohesion between the students, as well as to provide a platform for international (law) students at the JSVU. The LEC aims to organise activities in close relationship to the University, particularly towards the LLM and MSc Law & Economics. Building a network of students in relation to potential job opportunities will be an auxiliary goal of the LEC.

If this sounds interesting to you, please do not hesitate and inform us about your interest to be one of the new Law & Economics committee members for the academic year 2016-2017.
