Call for bids for EuroSDC 2026 is open! Having confirmed the Romanian bid for the EuroSDC 2025, the EuroSDC Committee is now opening the bidding process for the EuroSDC 2026!

The countdown is on! 🕒 You have until next Friday, May 17th, to submit your bid documents for EuroSDC 2025. For more details, visit the IDEA webpage (link in comments).

🗓️ Also, mark your calendars! The EuroSDC 2026 bidding process will start after we accept the 2025 bid, with bids due by the end of July.

Congratulations to the winning team of the European School Debating Championship 2024: Greece! 🏆🇬🇷 And a well-deserved second place goes to Team Romania. 🥈🇷🇴

We kicked off the third and final day with intense quarterfinal debates! After lunch, our talented debaters dove into impromptu motions. The semifinals tackled the fascinating topic of AI development, while the novice finals centered around the idolization of “girlbosses” and their impact.

And finally, the grand finale! 🏆 Team Romania faced off against Team Greece. 🇷🇴🆚🇬🇷

On the first day of the European Schools Debating Championship 2024 in Prague, we commenced the tournament with an inspiring opening ceremony. Distinguished ambassadors graced us with their presence, sharing kind and motivational words. Throughout the day, three rounds of debates unfolded, focusing on the intriguing topics of the Bologna process and diversity in films. To cap off the day, we explored the enchanting city of Prague during a guided tour. How was your first day at EuroSDC?

With more than 20 european nations already attending, the IDEA General Assembly voted to invite MENA teams to Prague as well.

We still have a limited team cap, so contact us immediately for registration.

Eligibility of MENA teams for subsequent renditions will be voted upon at the Council meeting in Prague.
