We are excited to announce our last confirmation for MBD 2021! Being a staff member of the Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik since 1978, the oldest piano manufactory within the premium segment, Ferdinand Bräu is now senior product designer and artist relation manager at the company. Not only knows Ferdinand the ins and outs of the piano, but he also knows a lot about the music business!

🎶🎤GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT🎤🎶

Initially at classical music publisher Peters Edition, Julia Haferkorn promoted the music of John Cage, Mauricio Kagel and Brian Ferneyhough. She founded the artist agency Haferkorn Associates Ltd (1998) and, with Ed McKeon, the production company Third Ear Music Ltd (2010). She has worked with a range of new music artists and has set up concerts and tours all over Britain and world-wide.

Her published work includes the research report Mapping Contemporary Music in Great Britain (2011), The Composer’s Toolkit (2013), The Producer’s Toolkit (2014), and The Classical Music Industry (2018), a collection of chapters written by scholars and industry professionals, edited by Julia and her Middlesex University colleague Chris Dromey.
