Last Saturday we also visited DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam. After being welcomed with their signature chocolate chip cookies we visited their Skylounge which has an amazing view overlooking the city. After the tour we had a fascinating meeting with the Brand Manager. We talked about Hilton's brands and future innovations. Thank you DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station for the warm welcome and the meeting!

Last weekend we also visited the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam. It is a beautiful hotel located next to the Amstel. You can imagine that our very own Posh Spice, Julique, really liked this hotel! Thank you InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam for the tour!

Today our Sporty Spice Thomas went to one of the bigger international events in the Netherlands. He went to the ABN Amro WTT. He saw one of his favourit tennisplayers and he learned a lot about the event for a subject he has this semester.
A day of exploring hotels in Amsterdam. This is the Hilton Hotel, where Yoko Ono and John Lennon had their bed-in from 25th till the 31st of March 1969.

Did you know that Vincent made the cupcakes for today? He has a passion for food, which is why he is Foody Spice! Tomorrow Rotterdam and Eindhoven will be handing out the cupcakes. Thursday is Utrecht, and Hengelo will get their cupcakes next week Tuesday 😋😋

This week we visited Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. We had an interesting interview with the Sales Manager and the Human Resources Coordinator. Afterwards we were given a tour and we were taught about the amazing history of the building which is located in the heart of Amsterdam. Did you know that their bar is located inside an old vault?

Last Wednesday we had a masterclass from Ron Simpson himself! He talked about his famous restaurant The Avocado Show and how it all started. Really fun and inspiring to listen to his story and can’t wait to try the restaurant’s avocado pancakes.
Last week we had our annual party at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. This year it was extra special because it was the 50th anniversary of Tio!

Yesterday during the Hotellotop Year Event Tio alumnus Melissa won the Next GM Challenge! Starting September 1 she will be the new General Manager of Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer. Congratulations Melissa!
