𝕎𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕓𝕖𝕖𝕟?
(hearing this in Dolores Umbridge voice)

I hear you, it felt like falling of the end of the world for a few weeks. I have been so so busy with moving into my new home, keeping up with my fulltime job and keeping myself a sane person by enjoying the littlest moments of time to myself. And I can tell you, there were not many of those.

Since the situation is settling a little I feel like I can finally breathe again just a little. I say a little because this is not over yet. The house is still a mess with little furniture and life keeps on moving forward. But I feel ready to pick things up where I left them a few weeks back. So here is a little picture of me enjoying some sunbeams.

Love is a tricky thing. As it can be so many different things. But if you read this, know that there is always someone out there that loves you in one or the other way. It might not always be in the way the expected it, or want it to be. But love is around every corner.

Love yourself, and love will follow you into anywhere.

𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪 𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥 𝕕𝕖𝕤𝕚𝕘𝕟 𝕓𝕖𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕤 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕒𝕟 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟 𝕓𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪!

It will be about two years ago now that I designes this amazing children teaching book. It is about an stick insect going on an adventure through the woods of the Netherlands Cantons Park looking for a friend.

In this game children learn about the history and the trees that are rooted in this park. One of my great passions. Teaching through games.

Marketers have known this for a while: a well-suited image makes for a successful campaign. But how do images really work their magic on us? And how can you exploit the potential of visuals in a digital space already cluttered with countless images?

They are easy to identify. The truth is quite simple: as humans, we love looking at images. Our brains are designed to perceive the world visually, and we crave constant visual input. Images are so attractive to us because we devote more of our brain's processing power to vision than to any other sense or ability seeing takes up a surprising 50% of our brain’s resources.

Eyesight is so intuitive that we'd rather look at images than text. When you're navigating through endless search results, content paired with images consistently pulls in more clicks.

Color psychology is also widely used in marketing and branding. Marketers see color as important, as color can influence a consumers' emotions and perceptions about goods and services. Logos for companies are important, since the logos can attract more customers. This happens when customers believe the company logo matches the personality of the goods and services, such as the color pink heavily used on Victoria's Secret branding. Colors are also important for window displays in stores. Research shows that colors such as red tended to attract spontaneous purchasers, despite cool colors such as blue being more favorable. Red and yellow, as a combination, can stimulate hunger, which may help to explain, in part, the success of fast-food restaurants such as McDonald's, Burger King, and In-N-Out Burger. The phenomenon has been referred to as the "ketchup & mustard" theory.

A while ago I followed this online class call about designing your online business with instagram and facebook and designing it again over and over. If you feel like things are not working, or you are done doing it one way than just try it in a different way.

Perfection is not found in one try. So this is me being open about starting my second try.

Throw backs into my creative life.
Almost two years ago I won this price with something I created. I believe that is one of the best compliments a creator can get. So it is one of my happy memories.

I think it is good that you look back on these happy moments in your life to take the energy back out of it and put it into new projects.

Let me introduce to you, my mom. In for any of my crazy and creative idea's. Half of my creative brain is coming from her and the other half of my creative father.

Here is us moving on with my crazy idea to go canoeing with the family. Not everyone was the best rowing match together but at least we had the best of fun! Me in the back because I am the tall one of the two of us. Mom being the tiny woman she is in the front.

fun fact; My mom actually makes her own pottery.

This is back in the day, that summer that I learned how to hold 6 ice cream cones at ones. Yes that is a skill!

Let's go back to those summer days in pretty dresses, nice sunglasses, smiles, ice cream, park moments, with friends and nice food.

Painting is my way of relieving myself from the stress in my life, the overtaking emotions I can feel, the things I go through and much more.

Helen Frankenthaler is a big example for me, as I feel that she is living inside of her paintings. Creating them around herself.
