It’s a wrap!
Three of our in-person groups had their final class this week with me, Sofie 🧡
Our Monday evening Beginners Basic (A0>A1) group finished with a presentation on their lives in Amsterdam, Dutch courses (5th slide is a very creative presentation by Giacomo about our Monday evenings and our Dutch and all the interesting things happening in the neighbourhood during class) and other topics covered in the course 💃
Our Tuesday/Thursday Intermediate (B1.1>B1) group finished the week with a debate on course related topics like va**ng and whether it should become illegal in NL to own a v**e. Some very strong arguments were made, a passionate debate was held and opinions were changed. All in Dutch!! 🇳🇱
Our Wednesday Beginners Plus (A1>A2) group all held a presentation about their favourite holidays, countries, hobbies, and even a full history lesson on Pilates (so insightful Ella Burgoyne !!) 🧘♀️
I am BEYOND proud of everyone’s progress and to see how each student has grown so much over the past 12 or 6 weeks. Incredibly grateful to be doing this fulltime and to meet so many incredible people along the way!
And of course, it wouldn’t be a final class without and end-of-the-course borrel so we celebrated with a beer, wine, aperol (or two) and natuurlijk bitterballen 🤸
So so so so soooo proud!! Can’t wait to see you all in the next course!
